It was a very eventful summer for Conquer Martial Arts. Here's a brief overlook at everything that went down.

Students and staff from both the Little Chute and De Pere dojos participating in the parade.

To kick the summer off, we participated in the Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival's Big Cheese Parade with t-shirts that had a brand new Conquer logo reimagined as cheese! Then the Conquer Crew and Team Conquer performed demonstrations at the Kid's Entertainment Tent even though the stage was rained out. The show must go on, so the teams adapted and performed in the grass under the tent instead.

Towards the end of June, we held our Dojo Challenge in house tournament, featuring our first ever grandchampionship divisions.

We also had students participate in quite a few other tournaments this summer including The Battle of Atlanta, The US Open (the largest karate tournament in the country!), The Elite Martial Arts Classic, Amerikick Internationals, and The US Capitol Classic.

July is always a little hectic, but we wouldn't have it any other way because it's Rec Time! We partner with the Little Chute and Kaukauna Parks and Recreation Departments to offer a tailored six-week primer into martial arts for lil' kickers and beginners, and this year brought

61 new faces to our dojo!

In addition to teaching basic martial arts techniques, we introduce them to our black belt words of the week, and show demonstrations of different advanced techniques and weapons.

We finished this years rec program off with board breaking then awarded everyone their white belts at our Summer Belt Graduation and Potluck Celebration at Doyle Park in Little Chute. With some awesome demonstrations and plenty of delicious food, it was the perfect send-off of summer. Now, on to fall!
